About Us
Alex Taylor, School Counselor
About Me,
My name is Alex Taylor and I am the counselor here at Mechanicsville Elementary. I am excited to begin my second year with the entire Mechanicsville community! I went through the Carroll County Public School system before attending James Madison University and Liberty University where I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in addition to my Nation Counselor Certificate. My goal at MES is to make sure that all students and staff feel comfortable and welcome in our community.
In addition to being a school counselor, I also am a high school cheerleading coach. When I’m not coaching, I like to spend time with my family and my dog, Dunkin. If you need any information, resources, or concerns, please email me or call the school.
